Pepper Jelly Recipe

2 red bell peppers (4 green bell peppers)
5 reapers (10 large jalapenos)
1c apple cider vinegar
4c granulated sugar
one packet sure jell original fruit pectin
tablespoon of butter/alternative **optional**

**prepare/sanitize your jars before starting**

  1. blend all peppers together
  2. strain excess fluid out of blended peppers
  3. add peppers, vinegar, pectin and butter to pot
  4. bring to full rolling boil, stirring constantly
  5. add sugar
  6. bring back to full rolling boil for exactly one minute, stirring constantly
  7. immediately ladle into ball jars
  8. water jacket can the jars if you want it to be shelf stable long-period
